Hunting
Our pilots have comprehensive regional knowledge and a passion for the outdoors. Many of the best hunting locations are only easily accessible by helicopter. We work with a number of clients providing hunting drops and pickups.
Fishing
The Central South Island is home to some of the best back country river fishing spots in New Zealand. With vast local knowledge of the area, our Pilot will take you to unique locations, largely inaccessible by land, where Trout and Salmon are in pristine rivers and streams.
Animal Control (Including Aerial Mustering)
We are available to help with your animal control (including mustering) requirements. Our pilots are highly experience in undertaking both wild animal control and aerial mustering operations.
Aerial Lifting
Alpine Springs Helicopters is available to help with your aerial lifting requirements. We can get into areas that cranes and large vehicles cannot. We can also get to remote locations faster, relocating people and materials in less time than driving or on foot.
Scenic Flights
If you would like to explore the majestic wilderness of the region from above, we can come up with a plan for you. We are also available for weddings and other special occasions.
Aerial Frost Fighting
We are available for aerial frost fighting in Canterbury and Marlborough regions. All of our aircraft are set up for frost protection tasking with the ability for onsite relocation for rapid response.
Fire Lighting & Control
We can take the stress out of your controlled burn-offs. We work with land owners to plan the safest and most efficient way to burn off contained areas using our fire lighter which is underslung from the helicopter.
Fire Fighting
We are proud to be an approved Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) operator. We are regularly called to help with aerial fire fighting within the Canterbury area.
